Children library

All our libraries provide books, audibooks, videos, DVDs and CDs for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers. An adult will need to borrow these on their behalf.

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent, carer or suitable responsible adult over the age of 16.

Baby and toddlers

Find support and ways to help your baby or toddler’s development at your local library.

Baby and toddler rhymetime

Our Baby and Toddler Rhymetime sessions are a chance to share rhymes and have fun with other families. Search our Kids event category for more information about rhymetime.

Bookstart

When registering your child’s birth, you will get a Bookstart Baby pack. This will help your child learn to read and develop their language skills. If for any reason you don’t receive this pack you can request it from your local library.

Children

Ealing Family Information Service (FIS) gives information, advice and guidance for children, young people and families across the borough.

Ziptales

Ziptales is a fun online resource with over 1,500 printable worksheets and over 500 interactive stories, quizzes, curriculum aligned English lessons and games to make reading a pleasure for children.

Young adults

Support with homework

If you need help with your homework, you can borrow a wide range of non-fiction books, book a computer to study online and use our free WiFi.

For young adults with learning disabilities

The Ealing Local Offer lists services and support for children and young adults up to the age of 25 who have special educational need or disabilities.
